Post Flowering Nutrient Management in Groundnut

In Tamil Nadu, groundnut is the major oilseed crops grown in a larger extent of area (0.53 m ha). So far the only organic fertilizer management studies have been conducted to optimize the nutrient requirements in conjunction with organic manure application. But it is imperative to study the best physical and economic requirement of NPK fertilizers on groundnut crop and also for its response to split application to obtain higher productivity and as well to increase the fertilizer use efficiency.
