Positive Christianity in the Third Reich

The completed book is finally here, nearly quadrupling in size due to the newly added content, containing several primary source documents pertaining to Germany's Third Reich and Christianity, some newly translated out of German, all but one by the same author, Cajus Fabricius.

In Positive Christianity in the Third Reich, Fabricius writes to demonstrate that National Socialism as a political identity and movement is compatible with Christianity. In part 1, he notes what National Socialism rejects, asserts, and stands for; and in part 2, he notes the particular Christian foundations of National Socialism.

The complete volume forms a dynamic spectrum of material composed of political theory, historical commentary, polemical responses to theological disputes, private pleas made to colleagues and certain German authorities on behalf of the German nation and for its future health, and sworn affidavits given in Nuremberg after the war had ceased. Together they offer a useful glimpse into the first-hand, developing thought and interest not just of Fabricius as an individual, but of other Germans like him-all from a crucial period of recent history.
