Before Europeans labeled the "Golden Age of Piracy" (1700-1725), this is the untold story of the origins of piracy in the New World. From scattered groups of decimated native tribes, Sea Raiders and Maroons evolved an organized, democratic society with long term plans and goals. While European empires competed for control of the New World, an ultra-secret Brotherhood pursued their own agenda in an effort to rule the Caribbean Basin. The result was the evolution of a pirate culture that is still glorified today.
