Beskrivelse

This third book in the Exposed series sheds light on a modern phenomenon with far-reaching consequences. There's a trend in contemporary Evangelicalism, particularly in North America, that has conflated political power with spiritual power, confusing kingdom discipleship with political activism. The author describes the problem and its potential to derail the church, traces its origins to the American Revolution, and provides historical evidence of how the gospel has, and can again, transform the world. But only if the church returns to its original commandments to love God, and neighbour as ourselves, including our enemies, preaching the gospel to all nations, and teaching them to obey the commandments of Jesus. Embracing the heretical expediency of political solutions, whether Christian Nationalism, the Seven Mountain Mandate of the New Apostolic Reformation, or Reconstructionism/Dominionism, all are destined to fail. They are a distraction from the Divine purpose God has set the church to do. The author presents a biblical rationale, foundation, and path forward to reclaim the true essence of the church and its true power to redeem lost souls.
