Playthings

Jamie Gosch is a nihilistic comic book artist stuck in a quaint, rural beach town. He's desperately avoiding sobriety, sleeping with the sheriff's wife and picking fights with the Ku Klux Klan, poorly aged goths, and mutant hillbillies in an epic quest to cure boredom. When his neighbors wind up butchered by a masked serial killer with a flair for the dramatic, Jamie becomes the prime suspect. If he doesn't discover the murderer's identity and put a stop to the blood flow fast, he'll wind up in jail, dead, or just another vivisected plaything.
