Renewable energy sources play a vital role in the production of electrical energy as they overcome dependency on non-renewable resources. The Photovoltaic (PV) System is a very popular and widely used renewable energy that uses solar energy for electricity production worldwide. At present, the PV market is one of the fastest growing industries. Many researchers are going on to increase the efficiency of solar cells. Moreover, the latest trends like machine learning and IoTs are also emerging together to improve the performance of the system further. This book aims to provide the latest research and development on the PV system, as well as provide some critical review that will help to increase the knowledge about the PV system to readers. Some reviews have been given on photovoltaic materials and technology, carbon nanodots. On the others hand, the implementation of AI for modeling PV systems and the application of optimization techniques for solar tracking to improve the efficiency of the solar array has also been provided. The use of nanoparticles for broadband light absorption enhancement by solar cells is another futuristic approach.
