Phantasm

Dwayne and Josette are living a young couple's dream, until a tragic accident separates them. Grief-stricken, Josette withdraws into her own world. As time passes, she's convinced she's on the road to recovery-until Dwayne starts appearing to her in ways that take her to the edge of terror and back. Josette isn't fighting the hold Dwayne has on her, but Mario Browning, a persistent and perceptive man, intervenes to pull her from a dangerous abyss.
