Peety and Poncho Visit the Grand Canyon is the second book of the Peety and Poncho series. Peety and Poncho Visit the Desert is the first book written. It tells about how these two characters met in the Arizona Sonoran Desert. Their meeting came about by chance as Poncho spotted Peety about to land on a prickly cactus so he warned him they would stick to his feet. Convinced their meeting was meant to be, they quickly formed a special bond and a life long friendship. They agreed to visit the world together, entertaining, and educating children along the way.
