Past Emu

Silo has nearly recovered from her husband's murdering a co-worker and his subsequent suicide. She has moved on with her life. (in Past Corpus, Book 1 of the Past Corpus Series) Past Emu (Book 2 in Past Corpus Series) takes Silo to Vernon, Normandy, France to see her son Jamie, who she hasn't seen in almost four years. France is under Martial Law, and she and her husband become involved with the people around them who must make sacrifices in order for the government to deal with terrorists. Eventually Silo and Duke move to New Delhi, India so that he can research his next international mystery novel. Involved in another new culture they find second marriages are not easy and need special care.
