The major events in life are birth, growing up, working, starting a family, having children, raising children, retiring, and dying. This book discusses how to raise children. This work begins when a child is born. This work ends when the child becomes independent. This period is less than 20 years.

Raising children is not an easy job and requires learning. The difficulties of raising children are different for each child. Raising children requires understanding the child and finding ways to help him/her grow up, learn well, able to think and analyze, know how to treat others, control his/her emotions, have morals, understand financial management, treat the opposite sex correctly, and start a family. The second difficulty in raising children is that our culture (the United States) has moved away from traditional Christian civilization and moved towards immoral postmodernism - focusing on personal freedom, not on the freedom of others, denying God, and having no goals in life.

There are many books and lectures on raising children on the market. The author found that Dr. James Dobson's books and lectures are the best. Basically, his method of raising children has a correct theoretical basis and is more practical and useful. He fears God and loves the Bible, understands the importance of knowing God, and advocates that children should know God.

This book has three parts. The first part introduces Dr. Dobson's book - Bringing Up Boys*; the second part introduces Dr. Dobson's book - Bringing Up Girls*; the third part introduces the author's own views on parenting. * Summary of each chapter is provided.

After the children leave home our relationship with them will continue, and we will care for each other until we die.
