Out of the Dark Into the Light

A powerful story of a Baton Rouge mothers struggle to survive abuse during the devastation of hurricane Katrina and Rita, as hospitals are filled to capacity with hurricane victims in need of other types of care. With the help of The National Domestic Violence Hotline, the mother and her family is able to relocate to another state in order to survive and start a new life, free from abuse. As a show of gratitude for all the services that has helped transition from a life traumatic abuse to a life of freedom, 100% of the royalties of Out of the Dark Into the Light will be donated to The National Domestic Violence Hotline in efforts to continue to help others in life threatening relationships.
