Navigating grief is a deeply personal journey, and for a couple, it can be a path of shared sorrow and individual experiences. When Lawrence and Melissa lost their daughter, Ethne, they were walking the same road, yet their perspectives and needs were profoundly different. As other struggles and tragedies would enter their lives, they continued to learn how to support each other.

In this book, Our Story[s], they share their parallel journeys, revealing how one tragedy became two distinct stories. Each needing to grieve in their own way, while still needing the support from the other. Their different needs for support and understanding led them to a powerful realization: everyone grieves differently and no one's experience is more or less valid than another's.
