When Glen Waters accepts a new job working for ENERCAL, a multi-national oil and gas company, he moves from Australia to Thailand, where he is accosted by the leader of a local gang. Glen fights the man off causing him to lose face in front of his men. This leads to a bitter battle between Glen and the gang, who attack Glen and his family intent on killing them all. Glen's son Alex is almost killed but survives thanks to a Thai monk using his special powers. Later Glen contacts old colleagues from British Special forces who arrive Thailand to help, and battles take place between them and the gang. Glen is attacked while driving his car and is left to die in a car wreck. His whereabouts are unknown and he is assumed dead, but his teenage son Alex who is a young genius, uses his computer skills to locate his father and save him before time runs out.
