Amid the growing fear, a Romanian immigrant named Revekah is the unlikely leader of mass protests against the looming invasion. With no political background, her rapid rise sparks suspicion--how has an outsider rallied a nationwide movement in a matter of months? Revekah is soon arrested on false charges and subjected to a brutal interrogation. Her followers face a similar fate as the legal system redefines freedom of expression into felony.

Outraged at the injustice, Revekah's reclusive sister--a software programmer with connections stretching to Silicon Valley--enters the conflict. Determined to save her sister, Dacia launches a scorched-earth campaign of data breaches against the government to force her sister's release.

What begins as a desperate mission for justice soon threatens to bring the entire nation to the brink of civil war.
