OSPITALIZATION OF FRAIL ELDERLY

The hospitalization of frail elderly people represents a growing challenge due to population aging and the increase in comorbidities associated with this age group. The presence of robust social support can reduce the length of hospital stay, facilitate the transition back home and minimize the risk of readmissions, as well as contributing to emotional well-being and adherence to treatment.
