Orania - Building a Nation from Scratch

Afrikaner people are one of most interesting ethnic groups in Africa, with rich history connecting european roots and african traditions. Their history is full of attempts of establishing of independent country or homeland which was often opposed both by black african people and external powers like British. Founding of town of Orania could be seen as continuation of those historic attempts. Despite controversies and opposition by many, project is still alive and growing.
