Cash poor Hawaiian investigator Robert Tam Hoy believes he has landed a high paying sinecure, providing security of billionaire and US Senator, Warren Jensen in Honolulu. An attempt on the senator's life leads Tam Hoy unknowingly into a high stake covert overseas mission. Two days into the mission, Tam Hoy is accused of assassinating the dictator of the South Pacific island nation of Zambingtimor. He, Jensen, and Jensen's girlfriend, Jocelyn Barangan, become fugitives on the island. An unexpected threat to Zambingtimor occurs when the island is invaded by an unknown military force. This crisis leads to an unlikely alliance between the United States and the new Zambo government to prevent a massacre by the invaders. Jensen devises a strategy that he hopes will save the mission but puts Tam Hoy's life in jeopardy. Tam Hoy must find a way out and clear his name by finding the real assassin.
