On The Other Side of Your Pain

Life is full of choices, and each of those choices carry a consequence. These choices aren't just ours; the choices of others often bring their consequences into our lives. We can accept the consequence of a bad choice for what it is and work to turn it around, or we can fall into a pit of regret and self-pity. That choice, too, is ours.

When those consequences hit me with their full force I found myself plunging downward into that pit. The daylight was growing dim and I knew that in order to survive I had to find something outside of myself to cling to. I chose forgiveness. And with forgiveness came hope.

My story is about hope for the hurting. It is a labor of love for anyone whose hope has diminished. As you read these words feel the peace and love I send to you. Again, there is always hope! Never give up. Never let go of it. Hold on to it with passion and tenacity!

I also remind you that you are not who others have said you are - you are who YOU say you are. Remove the illegitimate titles from your vocabulary. They do not belong to you! When you change those words and believe them, you will begin to see who you truly are!
