Nourishing Our Garden & the Earth: An Illustrated Children's Book

Nourish Your Garden and the Earth is a bilingual illustrated story created for children age 6+. The story follows local farming families with compelling illustrations that spark children's imagination and curiosity about the natural world. In its bilingual format, this book is also a great way of introducing our little ones to vocabulary in English and Spanish, all while learning together about science and ecology.

Inspired by integrating the knowledge of many masters and ancestral traditions, the children learn about science and ecology of the natural harmonious cycles of the earth, such as the moon cycles, or how to plant a seed, along with the importance of composting and regeneration.

We envision a world that thrives with edible gardens and healthy forests, where the water is clean and the air is fresh.

We want people to be strong and healthy, and we want them to have food sovereignty. Food sovereignty is the right to choose healthy and regeneratively produced food, and to define our own agricultural practices, seed selection, and food choices.

We would love everyone to read this book and learn about the allies and friends we have around us and how we can collaborate with them. We hope these words will transform into gardens, bring harmony, and help regenerate our communities.
