Neanderthal Legends

This book is about a Neanderthal Chiefs son, Trono, who goes off on a journey of discovery. along the way he finds a mate and encounters many dangers and has to look round every corner to check if there is danger lurking. He and his mate, Naom, meet up with a strange boy who could be a boy of legend and also a mysterious character, Koomara, who is a changeling that can change into either a human form, animal or bird and helps lonely travers in dangerous situations.
