My Sweet Vampire Candice: Vampires in the Sunshine State

Candice is a young century old vampire who knows nothing of the outside world. She lives in an isolated vampire community in a town called Martisor. Her mother wants her to stay within the safety of her community, but Candice is bored.

Despite her mother's protestations, Candice one day decides to leave her town and move to Florida.

Her grandmother and father live in Florida, so it is not as if she is going to be completely alone. The book is a love letter to South Florida. It follows the same comic tradition of Vampires in Habana.

The book shows both the beauty and the ugliness of South Florida. It also highlights all the diversity and bizarreness of its residence.

Some of the plot is based on real life events, viewed with Vampire tinted glasses.
