Instead of following a sequence of related events or a single plot, as is customary in contemporary novels, the intention of this book is to portray the protagonist's challenges and frustration at various stages of his life. This is achieved through a series of intriguing and enlightening stories. Yet, the collection of all his observations and decisions during this long process reveal the depth of psychological hurts and dilemmas that most humans must bear in the new era. In particular, the effects of our shoddy relationships alone ruin our spirits nowadays, while we wonder about our choices and the purpose of our daily efforts and ambitions. This is an abstract novel in the sense that stories are not directly connected, but the readers can imagine the protagonist's mental state during various stages of his life when particular experiences impose new conundrums and demand some kind of creativity just to survive. Only at the end, he realizes the vanity of his lifelong struggles.
