A former killer, recently released from prison and hiding his past, takes a quiet job as a gardener for a wealthy man and his four-year-old son. The father is emotionally distant-both unable and unwilling to connect with his child. But the gardener, childless himself, finds unexpected meaning in the boy's presence. A gentle, almost fatherly bond begins to form between them.
