My Happy Drawing Pad

The purpose of the book titled "My Happy Drawing Pad" is to allow kindergarten through fifth grade children to express what they are feeling and thinking. Drawing is a very important out let for children who do not yet have the verbal skills to talk about their feelings. When children begin to draw something well known to them, For example, a "bird" they have the chance to think about what they know and how they feel towards this animal. They use their memory to recall what they know about "birds" this will increase their concentration skills. Drawing will also help the kindergarten through fifth grade children to develop manipulative skills that will help children. Drawing is a complete exercise of the children's development. Not only that drawing exercises the essential fine motor skills that the children needs to develop, it also covers most of the cognitive processes that the children need to sharpen their mind.
