Beskrivelse
The Goddess of Wisdom was known to ancient humans by many names: Seshat to the Egyptians, Athena to the Greeks, Minerva to the Romans, Brigid to the Celts, Sofia to the Gnostics, Saraswati to the Hindus, Ishtar to the babylonians and by many other names to many other ancient peoples.
The Goddess happened to witness a completely selfless good deed performed by Spencer, an eccentric computer programmer. Touched, She offers him a favor. This is something that She often does on a whim. The gods and goddesses are spontaneous, whimsical, and sometimes inconsistent. They interact with humans for their own amusement and enlightenment.
More than anything else, though, they interact with humans for experience and sensation. The transient nature of human life is an exciting alternative to the beginning-less, endless, changeless, eternal existence in which they find themselves. They crave change, surprise, the unexpected, and the opportunity to experience different kinds of behavior. The nature of Spencer's request surprises Her, but She grants his wish anyway. The world was never the same again.
