"Music Saved My Life" concerns a talented singer and music teacher, Jack Trenchard, whose life changes completely when he is in an automobile accident that leaves him a quadriplegic. In seven short chapters, the memoir covers Jack's struggles with physical and occupational therapies to gain some use of his hands, along with how his family, personal and professional lives changed. The novella delves into how people went to great length to help Jack recover. The memoir, in addition, examines how he gave back to others in need. This is a love story of one person trying to overcome a great tragedy and the love and kindness of people around him, who assisted him in his success.
