Muhsinat Course Book

This course book has been designed exclusively for students of the Muhsinat course, offered by Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation. It is not intended for self-study.

Muhsinaat is a specially designed course with the aim of addressing every aspect of a Muslim woman's life. This course delivers the knowledge Muslim women need to follow the commandments of Allah in their everyday lives.

Module 1: HistoryLearn about the lives of dozens of pious Muslim women of the past from contributed to various aspects of social and religious life. Domains covered under these discussion include religious achievements, political achievements, education and the spread of knowledge, industry, trade, commerce, and more.

Module 2: Fiqh

This module covers the detailed jurisprudence and fiqh of tahara. Areas covered in this course include instinja, personal hygiene, wudu & ghusl, menstruation, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, post natal bleeding, and more.

Module 3: Worships

Learn every aspect of worships in Islam that apply to women across a wide and comprehensive range of topics including salat, sadaqa, zakat, siyaam, hajj, and more.

Module 4: Adornment

This module covers the details of adornment and beautification in the life of a Muslim women. You will learn about the guidelines and allowances shari'a has placed around matters like makeup, jewelry, dying hair, cutting hair, clothing, perfumes and more.

Module 5: Family Life

Women play a vital role in the life of a Muslim family. This module will enlighten you with knowledge you need to fulfill your duties and be served your rights as a Muslim mother, sister, or daughter. You will also learn important guidelines pertaining to marriage in Islam.
