Beskrivelse
Michael Wolfe is a small town, blue collar worker spinning on the hamster wheel of life, robotically going from day to day and working to pay the bills but never getting ahead, haphazardly talks his two closest friends into a vigilante-style attack that sets him on a path of chaos in search of meaning and purpose. The story is part unadulterated personal confession; graphically recounting his thoughts and feelings that led to this madness, and part dark morality tale of evil acts, good intent and personal discover through a path of violence and chaos to an unlikely peace and acceptance. Switching through manic and depressive stages, the chapters follow as Mike exposes every aspect of his life in his hope to be understood and set an accurate and full record of events, if the need were to arise. The letter is a tale of hope and homage disguising as a tale of woe. The moral is one of darkness and light violently out of balance, only to find wholeness and calm at the end. The tone goes dark quick, then darker until the end, where the hero wins and the bad guy loses isn't an option because he embodies both.
