"Momentum: God Save the King" will be the first novel in the Dark Angel series by Davis Grei. Each book of these action/suspense thrillers center on historically racial socio-political conflicts and the government's ambiguous role in them. As the first novel in the series, "Momentum" takes place over 5 decades and traces African American special forces Capt. James Blue's evolution into one of the most blooded operators in U.S. military history.

A government experiment yields an unexpected side-effect. It transports Capt. James Blue, his U.S. special forces team, and 3 fully equipped assault vehicles back to 1968 Memphis, during one of the country's most racially turbulent times, and 3 days before the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. When they discover someone involved with the assassination plot is also hunting them, the now time-travelers, are faced with decisions that could change the world forever.
