MODERN PERSPECTIVE OF PRINCIPLES OF KRIYA SHARIR

"When a student after studying science with modern aspects suddenly gets admission in Ayurveda - he is confused and a bit out of the place. For sure they know they are future doctors but the difference of Ayurvedic philosophies and Modern description of physiology of human body , its diseases, pathology somewhere doesn't match and Synchronises to their already mind setup, and the outcome is a half-hearted acceptance to the pathy and an incomplete clarity of it. The purpose of this book is not to boast Kriya Sharir Just because one of the authors is part and parcel of this subject from last twenty three years. The reason to introduce this book is the fact that Students normally do not do complete justice to this subject. Whereas it's the foundation subject of Ayurvedic concepts and theories. Ayurveda is the holistic science that seeks to treat and integrate body, mind and spirit using a comprehensive holistic approach especially by emphasizing diet, herbal remedies, exercise, meditation, breathing, and physical therapy. It's a PCHS i.e Person Centered Healing System, which believes in healthy life style, health promotion and sustenance, disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. There is absolutely no harm in accepting modern approach of science but one should learn to balance the cultural inidentity.
