Just what does it mean to mask human?

I thought I was angry about my childhood so I was angry at the entire world. It took a long time to realize that anger was hurt. I'm a weird little human with a weird sense of this world and a whole bucket of weird trauma. It took a long time to realize there was no normal, no definition of a childhood I was robbed of. Then, a beautiful thing happened: I began to allow poetry to speak my truth and show me how I could begin to heal.

These are poems of trauma, love, humor and of life all wrapped up into one book.
