Malachi Thoris was only sixteen when he made a discovery which would change his life forever.He chose to serve the Federation as a Fleet Marine and with the expansion of the known Universe, he faced challenges which further shaped his life. With each challenge faced, advancements came his way, and with each advancement came the fear many Commanders faced in that he was not capable of handling the positions he was placed in.During his life, lovers came and went as was often common within the Fleet, but even as expansive as the Universe was, it could often seem small. But as everyone within the Fleet accepted, there were no guarantees except that death could come quickly, without warning, and to grab onto all that a person could when the opportunity presented itself.This is the life of Malachi Thoris.
