Meanwhile, Selena Parish, an old flame and an insurance claims investigator with questionable methods, convinces Mal to help her on a huge art theft case involving a mayoral candidate. With leads in both investigations drying up, Mal turns to a loan shark, Moua, who has her thumb on the pulse of crime in the city.



If her lead is true, Mal and Selena's cases are connected. But the only way to unravel this web of high-stakes deceit is to perform a favor for Moua.
