Quentin Johnson, a former police detective from Maryland, has made the cross-country move to Los Angeles to become a Private Investigator in Hollywood. And to re-ignite a relationship with a woman from his past, Antoinette. Antoinette has moved west to begin a new chapter in her life. To escape a failed, 15-year relationship with her ex-fiancé, Jules and the specter of sexual assault committed by her now-deceased love interest, Amari. And her possible involvement in a hit & run accident.

Meanwhile, Jules has established the foundation of a burgeoning architectural firm that is securing contracts from a network of wealthy elites.
