With Thousands of Grizzlies Heading to North East California the residents of a small town are in grave danger. Clip from book: Marcie calls her brother John... "Help Me John" ... few minutes later... Screeching to a stop at the driveway, John flung his door open. Seeing Marcie's lifeless body on the driveway couldn't help but think the worst. He got to her, kneeling with her head in his hands.... A dead grizzle was laying not ten feet from her.

Suspense and Danger throughout the book. The story focuses on a Family, John a Farmer, Katie, His 14 year old daughter, John's sister Marcie and her two kids. Also the Local Forest Rangers stationed at the small town. The book takes place in early August and covers almost two weeks with tens of thousands of Grizzlies Migrating south to this small town. The Rangers save some from the wrath of a Grizzle and others they don't. The Rangers have to find a way to stop the Grizzly's. Can't shoot them, there a protected endangered species.
