London Blossom

London has been the target of attacks by a radical environmental group and the city is on high alert. When sixteen-year-old May leaves her sheltered Toronto suburb to visit London, her only worry is that she might miss something on her meticulously planned itinerary. But soon after she arrives, she meets the tattoo-strewn punk rocker Sid, a sensitive environmentalist who May begins to suspect is involved with the same radical group responsible for the London attacks. When Sid tries to plunge into May's life romantically, it lands her at MI5 headquarters where she is questioned by British Intelligence about a potential plot targeting the Queen. Now May wonders whether she can resist Sid, or stop him from the destructive path he is on. In this coming-of-age tale, May explores her independence for the first time, discovering an inner strength, a dormant sense of adventure and a love for a city.
