Lizzie and Her Dancing Letters

This book is about Lizzie, who finds it difficult to read and write due to her Dyslexia diagnosis. She sees the words dancing. How does that make her feel when she sees other children in her class read and write perfectly? She feels angry, sad, and disappointing. Lizzie would become gloomy and think of herself as inferior to the rest of her classmates, thinking she would never be like them. She would have continued to feel this way and stay angry at everything if she had not met Mrs. Jackson.
