When history professor James Morel leaves on vacation to France, the last thing on his mind is adventure. But when an unexplained phenomenon allows him to travel through his hotel window and 75 years into the past, will he choose to let history run its course? Or will he let his growing relationship with a woman from the past, his attachment to the quaint French town, or the impending threat of the invading enemy fuel his desire to alter the past and change the future?
