Light Bound

My head is still spinning over moving to the other side of the Shimmer. In the human world people would shame us for the decision. Not in the Kingdom of Everlasting Light, no one would dare mock our decision. Here, I'm the Queen, and here is where I will lose my best friend. This is where I come face-to-face with werewolves, and this is where I learn the meaning of love. This has been the most amazing experience, something a girl like me from the Bronx would never expect to be real. Now, I understand what the word destiny truly means.
