Life After Her: A Story in Honor of Teenie

This is a story of mother who gave her all to the development, growth and building of her family legacy; shared through the lens of her middle son. Evelyn Bailey, affectionately known as Teenie, shared an enriching display of love, guidance and wisdom to ensure her families legacy was intentionally defined through life stories, events and pivotal conversations that teach morals, values and life principles from an African-American middle class family by providing: sound guidance and biblical sincerity as her barometers for future family inspiration, generational development and spiritual growth.

Through her conversations, lessons and displays of affection are a full exhibit of her immeasurable talents and boundless acts of love as she overcame life's challenges with grace, grit, and determination rarely prelevant in today's society. Without a doubt, she was cut from a cloth of an earlier era of mothering. She experienced an early onset of Lupus and type-2 Diabetes, yet showed her strength in every aspect of her existences despite her limitations, disease and infirmities. She was a prayer-warrior for her home, marriage and family.
