Leishmania and Kala azar in Iraq

This book deals with the active research in the field of Leishmaniasis and epidemiology, chemotherapy and biochemistry, immunology, parasitology and vector biology Furthermore, biochemical method were being used for providing stable taxonomic criteria for Leishmania by examination of large number of isolates by development of new and existing techniques for the isolationof Leishmania from hosts and by establishing means of viable cell preservation .
