Legends of Greece and Rome

Like all the peoples of antiquity, the Greeks and Romans explained the origins of the world and of man through myths and legends. However, the mythology of no other people has left such a marked trace in universal culture as the Greek, perhaps because the Greek gods, in spite of being immortal and possessing a strength and intelligence superior to that of any man, knew how to love, hate, suffer and dream just like human beings, while mortal heroes could act like true gods and even surpass them in their courage and spiritual nobility.
