Krystal

A brief and unpleasant encounter with one of her dolls leaves Addy feeling unworthy, hurt, and angry. She focuses her attention on visiting Krystal, the doll that appears to be made of ice. When she arrives in Krystal's frozen homeland, she witnesses the arrival of the newest members of the community and finds herself enjoying the all-girl society, despite the bitter cold. After a full day of adventure, she is ready to return home to escape the killing temperatures that occur every night, but something is terribly wrong. The opal, the one magical artifact that brings Addy to the lands of the dolls and returns her home safely, has stopped glowing.
