The present thesis describes the transfer of batch or discontinuously operated reaction processes into corresponding, continuous processes using microreactors. The three final reaction steps of the synthesis of Paullones, a pharmaceutically and biochemically relevant class of molecules, serve as example reactions on the basis of which the topic is examined. The key question this work aims to answer is to what extent reactions are generally suitable for the transfer into a continuous synthesis process, what requirements must be met with regards to their starting materials and products, as well as reaction conditions such as solvents, temperature and auxiliaries and what benefits the continuous reaction must exhibit, so that a transfer from a batch to a continuous process can be regarded as feasible and advantageous
