Key to Fertility

The first words out of my doctor's mouth were simple yet critical to my success. "Reduce stress," he said. I dismissed his statement, but in the end, it was those simple words I should have seriously considered in the first place. Had I understood all the hidden sources of stress packed away in my subconscious from previous challenges in life, even in childhood, I would have sought help and I wouldn't have had to wait so long to be a mother.

Here's what I didn't know that would have made a world of difference in my painful journey: When a young child goes through stress, they create a story in their mind to understand it. That story shapes their perception of things deep in their subconscious and that perception sticks, even into adulthood. This information begs the question: Could there be a "story" or perception in our subconscious affecting our ability to become pregnant? I believe the answer is "yes," as my journey illustrates it well. With help, the "stories" in my mind which were triggering my stress response, were re-written and I finally was able to live my dream.
