Beskrivelse
A good simple read for the 'judge' in every person. Judicial Beatitudes are not just good attitudes for judges but for all of us. Judicial Beatitudes was written to help me be a better judge but it presents on a much broader stage: How to live life in relation to others just as we want them to live in relation to us. Judicial Beatitudes is a well defined word picture of the type judge I aspired to be. Moreover, Judicial Beatitudes is a description of how we should all approach our work in whatever field of work we find ourselves. Seeing our work, on the bench or any other field of endeavor, as an opportunity to serve is foundational to getting it right in the judicial branch of government and whatever life path you are on. The "beatitudes" presented here are good Judicial Beatitudes but also foundational principles for all people in all fields of employment and life in general. Being on time, showing respect to all people, being kind, being fair and courteous and all of the other principles urged here ought to be prayers for how we would want to live each day of our lives. Simply put, Judicial Beatitudes reflect the Golden Rule, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." because every principle contained here is simply how we want to be treated by our judge, our spouse, our parents, our children, our doctor, our teacher, our plumber and our friends. These beatitudes are good for all of us in every area of our lives.
