This publication brings together a collection of papers from different authors on a diverse range of topics. The first paper, by Peter Shaw, looks at Succession on the PFA/Gypsum Trial Mounds at Drax Power Station: The First Fifteen Years. This is followed by a paper on the trans-location of European Glow Worms; a comparative study of the invertebrates in historic hedgerows; the use of fish community structure as a measure of environmental degradation in India; identifying and managing important ecological areas in Boujagh National Park, Iran; and pollards and pollarding in Europe.
