As its title suggests, this is a manual both for those who are contemplating becoming followers or disciples of Jesus Christ as well as those who have committed themselves to following Him. It exhorts such folk to consider carefully what is involved in the Christ life, both from a negative and positive viewpoint. The authors are evangelicals and Baptists who take the Bible as the essential standard for faith and practice.
