Joining God's Army: Autobiography of a Soldier

This book chronicles the true adventures of Major Lester K. Anderson, who served as an officer of The Salvation Army for over fifty years. Sometimes laced with humor, irony, or other times edged with sorrow, these anecdotal shorts are the tales of a Christian man and his humanitarian efforts in the real world. The author is an artist with oil and canvas who loves to sing the old songs. He lives in Plant City, Florida where plays in the brass band, sings in the songsters and teaches adult Bible study. His comment upon retirement from his career with the Salvation Army was, "If I could, I would do it over again!"
