The quality of education depends on the quality of teaching. Competent, committed and dedicated teachers are the greatest assets for any educational institution. Education as an instrument of change is difficult, complex, significant and of immediate requirement for the growth and development of the economy. Its effective use requires strength of will, knowledge, motivation, attitude and dedication to work and thus applies to all kinds of education, particularly higher education. In this background the present book entitled "Job Attitudes of Teaching Professionals - A case study of University Teachers in the Karnataka State" is a record of an in-depth study into the concepts of three important job attitudes like Job Satisfaction, Job Involvement and Organisational Commitments of the University teaching professionals.
